Featured images ( big slider ) not displaying correctly

With Newspaper 4 the featured images filled the placeholders in sliders and big slider gracefully , yet with the newest version – they look horrible . I look at the demo and there they work . Any idea of how to fix that ?

ps : also what happened with the post type 4 with great images across the whole page with the title written over it ?

I recommend to use AJAX rebuild thumbnails plugin

Hi, does AJAX rebuild thumbnail plugin is heavy to the server?

I have used Regenerate Thumbnails plugin but I have over 2,000 images and it uses the maximum CPU usage (recived warning from host)

I use it only to featured images to prevent heavy CPU usage

Thank you this plugin definitely helps. Sometimes having issues as its stops in the middle of the many thumbs but I am able to see the improvement
