Featured Images Gone in Latest Update

Hello,
Featured images are no more shown either on the homepage or on the post page.

Moreover, the thumbnails of images inside media library are also not shown…
This has happened after I upgraded to the latest 8.8.1.

Deactivating plugins doesnt help and moreover, the latest update has also taken away links of my global navigation bar!

Further inspection reveals that the Featured Image tab is shown as empty and when we manually insert a featured image it still does NOT show up on either the front page or post page…

Hi,

From what I can see the thumbnails and featured images are displayed at the moment

There are no errors in the page that would suggest problems.

For media library issues you could check some online topics

Check the permissions of the uploads folder. Also try to regenerate the thumbnails

Images are hosted on the server, you could contact your hosting provider and ask them to check if everything is alright in that regard.

It was an issue from the host. Its resolved
