When I try to regenerate thumbnails, I get this error for all of the video created featured images: ERROR: Unable to load the metadata for this attachment. I also don’t see an image thumbnail in the media library.
Any ideas?

Try and re-upload your videos in the featured video option.

That’s how I’ve been doing it. I literally have hundreds of videos that I need to do this to as we are redesigning a site. The Featured Image show up correctly on the site, but not in the media library. That’s where I don’t get an image I can’t see. I get this error: ERROR: Unable to load the metadata for this attachment.

After a quick google search I’ve found out that this issue comes from WordPress and not the Newspaper Theme.
