Featured videos not running

Hi support
We’ve several pages with your newspaper theme. One of them with NP8.6 is not able to play videos as featured video. If we post standard youtube-videos inside the content-area of a post, everything is ok. But the featured video (same youtube-video) ist just showing, but not possible to click the play-button.

Hi,

It seems it can be clicked to play on the lower part of the video

There is an overlay on the top part of the website, this is preventing any interaction with the video

I could not say where this overlay originates, could be a plugin or custom code. It is certainly not added by the theme. I could give you a code to remove it, but you should investigate plugins or code used, try and identify what is responsible for this first.
