Dear Support,
I have a few questions.
1. How can I make all the category posts on the category page appear in the post loop (element below the advertisement) on my website? See this page for example:
https://bagtotag.com/index.php/category/trends/
2. Could you please also send me maybe some video tutorial about how to add pictures in the posts using the single post template?
3. How can I add a caption to the post picture appearing automatically on top of the post…? I managed to sort it out for desktop view, but not fo mobile articles. There I cannot change anything for each individual artice, or I don’t know how to do that.
thanks a lot in advance!
Barbara
Hello !
1. You can achieve that by using tagDiv Composer to edit your template and add a block in which you can filter the posts as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/BKwmPBF8Tb
2. As you can see here you can add elements using tagDiv Composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/KyPd0LMWzT
3. Can you show us where you achieved this ? So we can take a look on what differs in the Mobile device.
Thank you !
This is the Block 7 element chosen from the tag div composer:
This is what I mean by lines between elements:
How can I add those lines in the Block 7 element – you see the block on the sidebar of our website: https://bagtotag.com/
Also, how can we make the photos in this block 7 element, the same size and square shape as the ones in the Instagram element above:
For number three… We are adding captions beloow the featured images of each post. The problem is when I chance the caption in one single post – it authomatically changes to that caption in each post 🙁
now Andree Martis is under each photo on each post.
Thank you in advance!
Hello,
You can’t achieve that with block 7, but you can use Flex Block 1, where you can hide the date/author/category/comments etc => https://www.screencast.com/t/U1beZjkEsWz set the excerpt to 0 => https://www.screencast.com/t/OY1GEMKrfILv set the limit post and modules per row and set the value for Modules gap to 10 and Modules bottom space to -10 and the Image height (percent) to 80 => https://www.screencast.com/t/rFgLzaLUyzM
Also, please do a test using only tagDiv plugins and see if the problem with caption persists, also, please send me some screenshots with the steps done.
Thank you!
Dear Anamaria,
the problem persists – I tried changing the caption with other plugins switched off. Is there a chance I could let you in to my admin panel and you could see what the problem is?
I changed the caption under the featured image in one post:
Now other posts have the same caption authomatically 🙁
All the best,
Barbara
Dear Anamaria,
One more issue, on the home page and in the post page in the post title the double ff looks bad, as though it were not the same font
here is a screenshot of what happens to the title on the home page:
An here of exactly the same problem on the post’s page:
Thank you in advance!
Barbara
Hello,
This page was created with tagDiv composer or did you use another page builder?
Also, I don’t know exactly what titles you’re referring to, because you didn’t attach the screenshots => https://www.screencast.com/t/8dkC2LYnwa6and I checked the website, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong.
Also if you can tell me which editor you use for posts.
Thank you!
Sorry but I don’t know how to send you a link with screen shot it appears. This is my website: https://bagtotag.com/
I am using a single post template form your style news demo. I haven’t changed almost anything there.
I input posts text and photos going in my admin panel-> posts -> add new.
Once added it appears on the website as a new post in the single post template mentioned above.
I edit posts going to a specific post -> edit with tag div composer -> the text and photos appear in a single post content element, and above this element I added a new column title element where I wrote the caption.
This caption instead of being added to this one specific post, appears suddenly in each post, including the template.
How can I add elements to each post separately? Do you have a video tutorial on adding posts using you single post templates? Because the single post content bloc makes it impossible to change anything within the post content, should I do it differently?
Also check out please the post https://bagtotag.com/fendi-baguette/ and look at the title – there is a problem with the font. The double f looks strange, the two fs are different from each other.
All the best,
Barbara
Hello,
So, if I understood correctly, you to add a caption for the featured image you would add you added the title element, right?
if so, then yes, that item will be on all posts, to add a caption for the featured image, it must be added when you choose that image, like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/6e3XdnGs -> https://www.screencast.com/t/IxnAxfrHPuEX
tagDiv Composer is a page and cloud builder, it can be used only for pages and cloud templates, therefore you can use it on a single post template from tagDiv cloud library to adjust the layout, but not to write the post content, for this, you need to use the WordPress editor, you can only change the style/layout, this is a video about single post template => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6m8-EebnfM0
For fonts, you can check what family fonts apply on the post using the option from sidebar tool for each element => https://www.screencast.com/t/XLqSdtPv or from Manager(Website Manager) -> Fonts => https://www.screencast.com/t/zyhMF5hU -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbkYVyj1__Q
You can find more tutorials on our channel on youtube =>https://www.youtube.com/user/tagdiv which can help you to redesign.
A solution for sending a screenshot is this:
Download, capture, send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link, paste it here.
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
