Filter by 'recent' in flex block – shows wrong item

I have a filter set up for the main flex block on the home page. It’s configured to show one post, sorted by -RECENT-. By my understanding, this should show the most recent post. However, it always shows the second-most recent post.

Is this a (known) bug? Am I doing something wrong?

I’m happy to connect with the support team if more details are needed. In the meantime, here is a screenshot:

As you can see, “Dolor” is the most recent post. “Lorem Ipsum” is the second-most recent post, and that is what is displaying in the big flex box.

Hi,

Check the Featured category and try to add All categories. Probably, you do not have that post in that category and that’s why you do not bring as you wish.

Thanks for the reply. I did exactly as you indicated and I am still getting the second most recent post, not the most recent. I have confirmed this behavior by creating multiple new featured posts, and it’s always the second most recent that displays.
