Hi! I’m developing an electric cars review website and i have a category for each brand, with car models as subcategories (ie. Category: Tesla > Subcategory: Model S). I tried doing Custom Post Types for each car review, but i lose all the post templates and review capabilities so i’m using a regular post for each car.
I’m looking for a plugin or code snippet that allows me to have a dropdown for main categories (brands) and according to which Brand you select, you choose a Model (subcategory). Is this possible? Do you know any plugins that will let me do this instead?

Sorry but you will not be able to use post styles with cpt’s. As for the category dropdown, the theme has no such option so you will have to search for a plugin that can provide such features. Unfortunately we have not tested any such plugin so I cannot make any recommendations.
