Hi there,
Our website is having a 2 to 3 second lag while loading before displaying the proper fonts, and it’s destroying the UX. I’ve tried numerous remedies I’ve found while googling, all to no avail. Can anyone help with this? Thanks!

Only solution is to inline above the fold content in the head.
We use a service called Critical CSS to look at a page then generate the most needed elements, then put in the head before the closing /HEAD element in template.
