I have a problem I am not sure how to resolve. When I have a post two things are happening when you scroll to the midway point and then from the bottom to the top. The ad floats on top of the screen and I do not want it floating on top of it ever. Also some of the topics float back towards the top.

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
