Fool-proof custom inline ad method using cloud templates

After reading the forum, I’m finally figuring out why my inline ads didn’t appear for single posts when I entered them in the theme panel. I’m using a cloud template. (Initially I couldn’t get them to appear properly even when entered in the Composer, but I finally realized that you could edit that 0 for “par.”)

My situation is that we will be using custom, non-adsense (sold) ads in many locations, including inline. I don’t want to allow the editor, or whoever’s managing the ad placement, into the composer. It seems to me the best route is to create a custom post type, even if it only includes the image url/link code, and have this entered outside of the composer, then have the ad (or possibly a rotating set of ads) pulled into the ad spot in the composer. I imagine I’ll have to set up a shortcode to paste into the ad spot.

Before I launch into this, does something like this already exist? I could set him up with something like Advanced Ads, but not sure I want to get that complex right now, as he’s been fine for years just pasting linked images into his Joomla site. But has anybody created a quick, simple add-on that will do what I’m thinking I need to do? Or if I’m missing something and making this too complicated, I’m all ears!

Hi,

If you ads are set using a cloud template, then only the users with admin and editor role can save the changes make with tagDiv Composer, the rest of users will be able to see the template, to make the changes, but the save button will not work.
Hope this will help you in some ways. Also there are plugins that you can use, unfortunately we do not tested any of theme, therefore, I can not recommend one.

Thank you!
