Hi,

Unfortunately, please notice that there are two different sections at the footer and it cannot really arrange as you wish. For a better alignment, I suggest you use the TD Composer and create a footer page or import such a layout from Cloud Template Library which looks like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/npRrrltxNjIo I guess that the optimal solution for alignment your footer element. Are you agree with me?

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi Catalin, Thanks for your reply. The screenshot you sent is exactly what I’m looking for. I tried your proposal and modified the retro-footer template but the problem with that is that on TD Composer I can add only one CSS setting. If the screen size now changes from desktop to tablet and mobile landscape, the alignment will be destroyed again. Do you know another way how I could solve this?

Hi,

If you will follow my advice, you will customize your page for each device from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/guZzG1rEcJgO You can enjoy with the padding from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/awMbaadc8VW

I look forward to helping you!

Hope this helps!

Thank for your understanding!

Hi Catalin, Great, I didn’t realize that there is a setting for each size. Now I created this page for the footer. What I don’t like is that this site is now accessible via frontend by entering “example.com/footer-retro/”. Is there a way to completely hide this footer page from the frontend?

Hi,

Unfortunately, this is not possible because this is the link of oyur footer page which can be called by Cloud Template Library when your footer is created with a page. Basically, your footer section is a simple page, created by you or imported from the cloud which can be accessed, like any other page.

I hope that you understand the functionality!

Thanks for oyur understanding!

Hi Catalin, after using my custom page footer template for a while, I figured out that this is causing some trouble. If I use third-party plugins e.g. for social sharing or for generating a table of content, these plugins (and others using a system to automatically insert content along with posts) will show their content again within the footer. E.g. Social Sharing on the bottom of each page, an additional table of content on the bottom of each page, etc.
Somehow the footer triggers them to add the elements again (although these plugins are set to appear not along pages but only along posts). It would be great if the footers could be somehow solved like headers not to be a page.
