Last question for today. When I edit the footer menu bar colors for hover and links, they look like they’re changing while editing, but when I check on the live page, they are back to the original colors. I’ve been trying to change those colors for over almost two hours now. Lol. It’s kind of driving me crazy. Any suggestions?
I found that the Hover Color for the bottom menu bar is related to the General Accent color, but I still cannot change the menu color in the menu below the footer section.
I’m sorry guys, but I’ve wasted more time trying to get the colors right than I have making content for my website. For every hour I spend making a page, I’m spending 3 hours trying to figure out where parameters and colors are located. I understand how hovering over some Composer color options tell you what Manager Global colors are affected but those same options also affect elements like Exclusive Colors in other pages. That is very confusing. Do you have a clear table and page dedicated to how to color manage different template designs simultaneously?

Here is the menu: https://imgur.com/a/2wjtmrz
I tried setting the color in the Manager to different color to see what they change but the current colors it has, which are blue…somehow are stuck at that color.
Hi,
Please let me know what element it is, list menu?
It is list menu, you need to set the color here https://i.imgur.com/HtNLM7c.png
Thank you!
Yes, those do change the color but only in edit mode, not published mode. When I go to published mode, the colors are still the same. The hover color does change. That works, but not the text color.
For example, if I change text to white and hover to red, this is what I get when I publish: https://imgur.com/a/Fy06v3i
The Discover and other menu links still remain blue.
Here’s a video of the issue: https://youtu.be/z-53wGVy-vs
Notice how I changed the link test to yellow, but it remains blue when published.

Hello
I can’t access the video https://i.imgur.com/079Pysc.png Also, please purge the cache.
We can take a look at this and investigate why it is not working for you. Contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Thank you!
Hello,
I think the problem is the settings are not saved, please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-composer-does-not-save-only-content-of-homepage/
Thank you!
I sent contact@ an email with Admin credentials as you requested. I double-checked for caching plugins but the only one I’m using is from my host, but I know it’s not the problem. Still, to be certain, I deactivated it and it still doesn’t fix that menu. I use that plugin with 5 other websites and it has never given me a problem. In fact, that plugin helps dump the cache on the fly.
Thank you for taking the time to help me. I’m going to bed soon because it’s 5:30a and I haven’t gotten any sleep working on several websites. I’ll check in the morning to see if you have better luck figuring this out.
Wow. Please tell Calin he’s a genius. You’re also a genius too Anamaria. In fact, all you guys are geniuses. I suggest making a page for people like me called ” Custom CSS for specific link types, zones, or template pages” and have it linked to this page specifically: https://tagdiv.com/how-to-create-custom-code-in-newspaper-theme/
I’m still testing this out but it seems like following the steps works for specific link types but I’m not sure what other things get affected. Regardless. Thank Calin for me.
I am also experiencing this same problem. Can someone take a look at it for me? or provide me with the custom css i should add?
Hello @maxedoutecom,
Please check if you have set CSS in live CSS or custom code -> custom CSS from the theme panel.
Also, please provide some screenshots with your settings and the link.
Thank you!
I don’t have any custom CSS saved.
It’s fine when I’m on the home page. This is what the footer looks like
https://gyazo.com/a382800cf5637ce29874349225c790f2
But when I go to a page like https://maxedoutecom.com/services
The selected page has the same color as the background, so it can no longer be seen
https://gyazo.com/a76159f3accabf3acfd092d5caadb4d3
These are my settings for the footer
Tried both, didn’t help.
What doesn’t make sense is the second color is for the Menu Active & Hover color.
Yet, it ONLY applies for Hover, not Active. The active color is another color, which I can’t find anywhere in the settings.
Hi,
I would like to take a look and see what can be done there. Please make a full backup to all files and contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
–wp-admin URL and credentials
-FTP/cPanel URL and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Also, during the investigation know that we will disable the other non tagDiv plugins.
Thank you!
