I have updated to the new version and noticed that there is a new option under the Footer menu to add your own page layout. I have created a footer page and selected it here, but the system is not displaying it. Is there another setting that I’m missing?

Hello,
I have just tested the footer page again. Once you set it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/Y4s7AoCxVGiZ the standard footer no longer displays.
Please clear all your caching including cache plugin, cdn server and browser cache.
Also test without plugins to see if there is no plugin conflict affecting the theme functionality. Try to disable all plugins except the theme specific plugins.

Ok I tried all of the above and I’m not having any luck. I even opened in Firefox and the new footer is not showing there either.
Any other suggestion?

Was there any resolution to this? I have been having the same problem for some time… basically just give up, as no matter what I try, it doesn’t work.
Hi,
The problem in the case above was with the child theme. The child theme contained footer files which have changed in the main theme when the options was introduced. So if you use a child theme check if it contains theme footer files, these would be outdated if you used an older theme version before.
