I have the footer turned on and tried to select a couple of styles, save, and refresh my page but it is not showing anything. I set a widget in each of the Footer 1, 2, 3 to show [tagdiv] block 15. Let me know what I should try to fix this.

For some reason the footer is showing up now. I want to use style 9 and be able to display three widgets one on each column. For that style you said it is up to me how I customize it. Do I put the widgets I want to use into Footer 1, Footer 2, and Footer 3? Thanks..

Yes the 3 footer widgets are there for footer content. Each footer widget represents 1 column of the footer. Footer 1 is the first column, footer 2 is the middle and footer 3 is the right-most column
