If you need to add some HTML code in your footer section, please notice that you should edit the Footer section from Theme panel and there you should insert your HTML code, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/HRYECtkX

Unfortunately, our theme has not been tested with this type of plugin and we have no idea about the theme behaviour with this type of plugin and also, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not with the theme, sorry! If you want to insert this shortcode inside your Footer, you can try to use another Footer template, like style 5 which can be customised as you wish. Using this, you can add to the Footer 1,2,3 what code you want to customize your footer. You can try to add a Text Block to the Footer 1, for example, and inside it, you can place the shortcode from MailChimp and check the results.

I choose style 5 and put the sortcode in footer text but this dont work.
Its not the plugin but just the footer text dont load sortcode maybe i can change some of yours code so make it run properly?

Also, we cannot provide support for untested plugins.
