I was able to change the page header normally: I changed the template from the Manager.
But I have not succeeded with the footer: although in TD Composer I can see the changes, the pages continue with the Global Template.
What should I do? Can the footer be reset to read the changes?

By using the website manager you will be able to select your footer and edit it as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/FIy3J3wUZErA Select the footer and scroll to the bottom of your page, this should work. Also you will be able to see and edit it.
