Forcing the entire featured image into a thumbnail

I am working on a site that will feature product images. I am using block 12 to display pages. I would like the entire product to be visible in the featured image thumbnail on block 12, not a cropped version. Is there a way to do this?

Note: the images have different widths, heights and aspect rations. Some are portrait and some are landscape oriented.

Hi,

The thumbnails that the theme creates will be cropped

The cropping system cannot be disabled by a setting. If this is required for you, this is where the thumbnails are created by the theme

You could remove or change the cropping used, then regenerate the thumbnails with a plugin
