Hi we’re using a child theme with newspaper x cloud templates and have custom Advanced Custom Fields on certain posts with values we are trying to add to a cloud template post and have been able to use the base ‘the_content’ hook to do it. Just want to confirm we’ll be able to automatically upgrade the theme and it will still be compatible moving forward.

This should work in the future too without a problem. We advise you to take a look at our changelog when an update will be released to make sure that nothing can be altered.
