There are a lot of scripts which are unnecessary which load on the front page which increases the size of the page… Even the font from the theme unnecessary load which I am not using.
Like it is loading the Comment JS which is not necessary on the main page
HOW TO FIX THIS
Even the contact Page css, table press css. and a lot more css which are not necessary for front page loads..

The font request will load, by default the theme uses two fonts. So even if you leave all the settings on default and don’t install a demo these will still be loaded

If you want you can disable the fonts in the theme panel – http://prntscr.com/msxqc2
What comment js are you referring to? Maybe it is not coming from the theme. If you want to not load plugin resources only on specific pages or for specific pages, you could try some suggestions I found, could be other solutions
