Front Page – White Screen of Death

My front page went blank for no apparent reason over the weekend, I last updated on Wed. and had visits to my website till Friday. I can log into admin and see my posts, pages and my newspaper settings; all is in place and I can even revert to an older theme and see my front page without issues but when the Newspaper theme is active (which is updated as well) – i am getting the white screen of death. I have turned off the plug-ins, and turned each one off and on to see if that is the issue, which it isn’t. Any ideas of which way I can go to figure this out?

Check enough memory allocated to site, clear/reset any caching or CDN resets, try resetting plugin folder.

Chris – I was able to add more memory allocated, I reset my plug in folder – nothing… but I do have this note:

WP Home URL http://www.susanbaggett.com
WP Site URL http://www.susanbaggett.com/blog
Home URL – Site URL Home URL != Site URL Home URL not equal to Site URL, this may indicate a problem with your WordPress configuration.

I have always had it set this way – admin in the blog folder. Should I change everything to the root folder?

In WordPress the Home URL is the “base URL” where everything is loaded from — so if WordPress is actually installed in /blog/ folder the home URL is there — “home” is where the WordPress home is, not the root URL if site not in the root.

Thank you Chris – I did #5 change to the Using a pre-existing subdirectory install section and my site was back up and working. No idea how it switched but good to know. 🙂

Thanks!
