Hi,
Is it possible to ‘stretch’ the big grid to make it the full width of the home page or do i need to use rev slider?

Hello,
The best method is to use the the rev slider. The big grid was not meant to go further than 3 columns width. The width of the theme is fixed and all elements depend on this fixed width.
