Gadgets Pro page set up – posts/images not loading. Configuring right column.

Hi,

I’m a novice user and back to Newspaper theme! I would like some help with customising Gadget Pro please
After a new install of Newspaper 10.3.2 on a new host, I have installed the Gadget Pro demo with demo content. I want to edit the home page layout. I have clicked the TagDiv composer. First I created some new post categories, and updated posts to be in these categories (example: I created a news category and added multiple posts to news). For the first element on the top left of the page Flex Post 2, (see Pic 1) I clicked the Filter tab and set the Category Filter to News – but no content showed up. So I switched it back to All Categories – and no content is showing so it remains empty. Why doesn’t it show any posts?

I love the wide page layout, but further down I would like to add a new content block that lists a series of posts from news category, and on the right column lists a social counter, ad box and most read etc. See Pic 2. How do I set this up?

For posts you can choose different templates, if I want one template to have a social counter, ad box and most read in the right column where would I configure this?

I went to Newspaper, Themes Panel, Header section and added a logo – however it is not displaying on the home page- how do I get it to show?
