gallery tag showing full images

I’ve got a little problem with the gallery tag. I’m using a shortcode inside my child theme to show all attached images of a post under my main content:

[gallery size="td_1021x580" columns="1" order="ASC"]

The thumb size is activated in the theme panel. I confirmed the files exist, eg 80e9618a197960e0219ff0438b1da004-1021×580.jpg. But, when loading the page the full image is displayed (80e9618a197960e0219ff0438b1da004.jpg). Any idea what the problem can be?

And I just found out that it is not only gallery images. Also, freshly uploaded images seem to have the same issue (eg. featured image).

Hi,

I have also tested this using the main theme and found that the theme is overwriting WordPress’s shortcode gallery system so please comment this filter in function file and check again: http://screencast.com/t/oZobMu6P1
I tested this and after this using the image size into gallery shortcode dose return the right image size:

ex:

The image as it’s original size is loaded if you set the post page without the sidebar(full width) if different then the 640px wide one will be loaded.

I created a function in my child theme so that I don’t have to modify the original theme.


function childtheme_remove_filters(){
remove_filter( 'shortcode_atts_gallery', 'my_gallery_atts_modifier', 1 );
}
add_action( 'after_setup_theme', 'childtheme_remove_filters' );

Works like a charm!
