Hi TagDiv, firstly i don’t use General Modal Image, and then i changed my mind, i’ve turned on General Modal Image, but when i post image in new post, image is clickable but error like image with title “Redesign VioMagz” in this post: https://prianttaruh.com/viomagz/
Do I have to activate the LightBox individually for each image (not thumbnails) in a new post, while i’ve enabled General Modal Image settings?
Thank You
Hi,
If the General Image has been turned on from the theme panel, then, please check the individual image option and make sure that the modal image is set up to be turned on, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/qIxylx5t3x43 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/eyu3iv8h on Gutenberg – https://i.imgur.com/Mi9ikrL.jpg
Hope this helps!
Hi Calin,
I mean, do i have to do https://imgur.com/Mi9ikrL for every new image, in next new post?
So, there is no difference between activating or not activating General Modal Image.
Hi,
Normally, if the option is enabled in the theme panel you no longer need to use the individual option. If you disable the option from the theme panel, the image will no longer be clickable to open in the modal image. If you want you can do a test 😀
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
General Modal Image is enabled, but i need to use the individual option because Lightbox is not active automatically https://prnt.sc/_ohTECa5YLlb
Hi Priant Taruh,
The theme panel option (General Modal Image) is not interfering with the individual option, therefore is that option is enabled, then the image should be open in a popup even if the individual option is not used. Now in case, the General Modal Image is disabled, then the individual option will be used.
Thank you!
Dear Calin,
I have General Modal Image is ON
After saved settings I created new posts with images (individual settings of images is off) and images does not show in popup/lightbox view.
I must edit image, set lightbox on and set link of media files. After this settings modal view works.
In all cases we need a set individula images to set kightbox on
Is that ok?
Thanx in advance
BR.
Hi gcamaram,
I made some investigations and this problem is happening only if you are using the classic editor. If you are using the Gutenberg editor (the WordPress editor is now the Gutenberg editor), then it should work without problems.
Also, I made a notice to our developers to check the situation with the classic editor plugin.
Thank you for your understanding!
