Getting CSS code conflicts when I tried to update theme

I’m using a child theme with Newspaper for a client. I did some customization of the visual layouts. When I update the theme in a stage environment it is breaking the site. I’m not sure where the conflicts are coming from. I’ve been trying to work with out for over a month now. can anyone help?
