Im getting my site ready, and I would like to get set up for ads. This is very new for me, and I would really appreciate a “for dummies” explanation.
I would like to know how to get starte with ads through Google AND from my own customers (the pay pr day). Can anyone please help me?

You can set your Ads in Theme panel->Ads area, like this: http://screencast.com/t/5zN0fsm53Tx5 . Here, you can see a list where you can select where you want to show ads, like: Header ad, Sidebar ad, Article top, inline, bottom, Custom Ad 1,… etc. Please consult our documentation for more information about how to add this ads, here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-ad/ .

Thanks Catalin, I appreciate the help.
It seems that it will be easiest to use AdSense from what I can read in theme documentation.
Our site will have a very specific segment for advertisers, and we will be selling ads ourselves directly to our advertisers. Will we be able to do this with AdSense?
Also, if we would like to promote things through ads on our own page, can we do this with AdSense?

Unfortunately, I cannot provide a concrete answer about ads, because this thing is not controlled by the theme. It is controlled only by the Google Adsense. Practically, our theme renders only the ad code. I strongly suggest you adresess to Google AdSense to find out more information about what you can do with these ads. They should be able to provide a more accurate response about this problem.
