Love the theme, but I’d like to use wptouch with it. However when I try to activate and use wptouch I get this on the homepage:

Individual posts load fine, just the homepage. Anyone know how to fix it?
But the theme is mobile ready. Why use wptouch?

That code is from page builder(Visual composer) Please disable that plugin.

We had similar issues on one of our sites running Woo Canvas, and basically stopped using WPtouch as it’s *not* designed to work with responsive themes due to “conflicting” CSS for mobile devices being loaded twice.
WP Touch is *NOT* recommended for use with themes already setup for mobile/responsive unless you plan to hack the theme, which defeats the purpose.
I’m also trying to get WPTouch to work with this theme. I just purchased it and am disappointed that I cannot get them working together. About 75% of my visitors are on mobile and I need WPTouch to work. For multiple reasons…first, the ad support. 90% of my income is from mobile ads. I can’t find a way to show certain ads for mobile only. I have exclusive agreements from time to time to show certain ads on mobile devices only. Also, and honestly, I just don’t like the way this theme displays on mobile. The WPTouch theme that I use is perfect for what I need. Oh, yeah, I’ve spent a LOT of money unlocking most of the WPTouch features. I’d hate to throw that money away to use an inferior product.
I love the way the theme looks on desktop and it works perfectly for that. However, this might end up being a make or break issue and if I can’t get it resolved, I’ll have to look at yet another theme to switch to.

Unfortunately we haven’t managed to find a solution for this, we are still investigating this and consider another implementation for this but unfortunately I can’t give an exact answer on this.

@cookingpanda, I get premium support from WPTouch because I’ve upgraded it to nearly as much as it could to unlock the extra cool features for me and my visitors. I have been in communication with them for over a week now and they are trying to see if they can get these two products working together, but I haven’t heard anything positive yet from them. I just sent them another message asking for a status update. I’ll let you know when I hear back.
ned4spd8874, i’m french and i’ve got the same problem. When i use WPTouch, every posts page works but the homepage dont. I see shortcake from my theme and nothing else.

Yes, we’ve been able to get my site mostly working. It still has some minor kinks, but it’s better than it was. I’m at work right now, but I can reply later when I’m home and let you know what we’ve done so far.

As convoluted as a process this has been, I am very surprised with the level of support I am getting from WPTouch. They are going above and beyond to help with this issue. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone who asks.
