hello,
is there a way to get support of gif and streamed video (youtube, viemo, generic, etc..) with all headers/blocks thumbmails ?
is it a feature coming one day ?

I could not say, it might be a possibility in the future but for the moment I don’t think there are any immediate plans in the matter.

With the current theme capabilities that is not possible.For example if you were to set a gif as featured image it will be shown as a if only in the post page, on modules it will be a thumbnail. The modules will only display thumbnails.
