Is it be possible to add GitHub as an additional option of the available “Social Networks” in the “Theme panel”?
It would be very convenient for someone who has a GitHub account and wants to show off some repositories to have GitHub as one of the available options…

Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to add new social icons. You should implement it yourself because we cannot provide additional customizations, sorry! yes, I understand that.
What I asked if it would be easy in a future update to include GitHub in your social network items at a future update as it is something widely used by people, especially when it comes to portfolios, and in that case, many would be interested to add a GitHub account into their social profiles.
Also it appears like very simple update to be included in a future release of newspaper.
