We sometimes add links to external websites or articles as for our images. When I enable Global Modal Image the script tries to open these links in the modal window giving an error on each image. Can you fix that so it only tries to open .jpg / .gif etc and open links to other websites or articles normally?

Hi,
The modal image feature will work on all the images if it is enabled, regardless of image format. You can disable it per image in the image settings – https://www.screencast.com/t/UZQRUVwLML and add a custom link when clicked if you want.
