Going to Black! (Switching template to Black Template)

Dear TagDiv SUpport,

If I would like to change the template to Black version, I guess installing the Black Demo, what kind of settings and changes I will lose?

Can you suggest me a safe a proper way to switch from my actual Newspaper 9.7 News Magazine white version to the Black version of NewsPaper?

Maybe during weekend I would like to try some new dresses for my magazine 😉

Hi,

Installing a new demo will uninstall the one you have now. The settings you have in the theme panel now will be replaced by the settings in the new demo. Everything related to the previous demo will be removed and replaced by the new demo.

You could for example create a testing install on a sub-domain if possible, or locally, with a copy of the current website. There are plugins that can duplicate the website, or clone it (like the duplicator plugin). Then install the new demo there first, to see the results. This would be better than trying it on the live website, it is worth considering
