Sorry for the delay. We answer from the oldest topic to the newest and because you updated your topic it was always on top.
The theme was designed to display only an image + link as a background ad. To change this implementation you will need many customizations in theme’s core files. You can try to edit the function which render the background ad in td_background_render.php: http://screencast.com/t/EUbcEBFhiz
Please consider that this is a complex task which require many customizations and for the moment we cannot offer any type of custom work. If you can’t do this by yourself my advice is to hire a freelancer from sites like http://studio.envato.com/ to do it for you.

I can’t make any suggestions in this regard as the actual theme’s implementation regarding the background ad doesn’t allow to output a shortcode, only an url. This is a complex tack which require many investigations and i can’t provide any solution now. You can always get a professional developer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ to do this for you if you don’t know how to do it yourself.
