Google Adsense ad not showing anymore

Hey,

One of my google ad units has stopped showing for some reason, even though my google adsense account is good. The ad unit that isn’t working is when you click on any post and scroll down. for example on this page: http://justfreshkicks.com/official-look-air-jordan-1-storm-blue/ there should be an ad on the bottom of the sidebar that scrolls as the page goes down. I checked the ad code in the theme panel and it is exactly as given on my google adsense account. Any idea why this randomly started to happen?

Thanks!

Hello

I have inspected your website and I did not saw any problem with your Google Adsense. Seems to work as properly, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/JNcNLZFAk

Thanks for the message!

Thanks for the fast response! However I was actually referring to the ad on the bottom of the sidebar that doesn’t show. It’s all good but please check what I said again.

Thanks!

Hello justfreshkicks,

I have checked again and indeed, the ad on the bottom of the sidebar still not working. It is strange because the ad on the top of the sidebar is working fine. Please try to check your Ad code and change the ad with another one and check the results. Probably, the Google Adsense is broken and that’s why it is not displayed. Also, please contact the Google Adsense, tell the problem because they should be able to provide a more accurate response because as you can see, the theme displays the Adsense. Also, you can try to clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hey so I contacted Google AdSense and they replied saying

“Our technical specialist took a look at your site code and you need to remove the lines highlighted in the screenshots for the ads to serve properly. Can you try that out and let me know if it resolves the issue?”

And here are the two screenshots they provided me with:

1.) http://prnt.sc/dx0bf5
2.) http://prnt.sc/dx0bm7

So I was wondering how would I go about removing these lines?
Really hoping to fix this critical issue as the ad unit has not been showing for a long time now. Thanks!

Hello, I am having similar issues, but only with the header ad.

I just want to put a static image and all of a sudden it is gone. They are even gone from your demo themes too.

Hello all,

@justfreshkicks
, I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using 4 GoogleAdsense for your page and the fourth is not delivered by Google. Most likely, this is not delivered because as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/mlAihWrrE8on only three Adsense are valid for content units on one webpage, sorry! Please notice that this problem is not theme related, is only related to the Adsense code. Also, you can try using the AdRotate plugin for your Ads and check the results.

@logdog08
, I have inspected your website and I did not saw any Adsense code on your web page, sorry! Please provide more details and also, more useful screenshots so I can identify these.

Thanks for your understanding!

I too am not showing Google ads: http://myinsidertraveltips.com/japan-rail-pass/

Figured out the problem on my end and I wonder how many others may experience this too.

It is the Avast Online Security extension on Chrome. On Firefox, it is the Tracking Protection in your Privacy settings. On Firefox, it would not show Google Ads until the Tracking Protection was disabled (look at the privacy shield to the left of where you type in your domain name) but it did show Disqus. Chrome, with Avast, did not show Google Ads nor Disqus.

Thanks for the response! I contacted them about the 3 ad policy and Google AsSense responded:

“You’re right! We did remove the ad limit per page. I think the problem is with the Blogger site layout. It’s possible that it is only allocating 3 ad units.

The bad news is that we don’t have the ability to do technical troubleshooting of the Blogger widget. Could you try hardcoding all of your ad units and see if it lets them appear?”

So they DID have a 3 ad limit, but have removed that now.
Also, I have over 3 ads showing correctly on the homepage, but not for post pages for some reason. And when I remove an ad for the post page template, the bottom sidebar ad actually DOES show. for example, this page I removed the in-article ad, and then the bottom sidebar ad showed. (http://justfreshkicks.com/ad-test/)

So for some reason with the layout of the theme it’s only allowing up to three ads to show for the post template, NOT the homepage. However Google Adsense confirmed they don’t have a limit anymore and I have more than 3 ads showing on my homepage, so it has to be something with the template.

Appreciate any help in solving this problem. Thanks!

Hello justfreshkicks,

I have tested it on my side, with more than 3 Goole Adsense and all of them seems to work as properly. Therefore, this problem is not theme related, sorry! Try to make a new clean install from scratch, remove all untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active and install the theme via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard and check the results. It should work as properly because on my side with the default state of the theme works as properly.

Thanks for your understanding!

Thanks for the reply!

If the problem is plugin related, can I just deactivate each plugin one by one and check if the ad will show? Or do I have to delete the files of the plugin, not just deactivate it? Or is your method that you stated above the only solution you recommend?

Thanks for the help!

Update: I actually was able to fix the problem! I’m not even sure exactly what it was, but I believe it had something to do with the ad code I was copy and pasting into my articles. Thanks for the help!
