Please try to reindex the website on Google.
Sometimes it takes longer for the changes to appear because on the desktop the favicon is displayed.

I have done all this, my site is also in Google News and does not take upto 2 mins to be indexed.. I have submitted all the new urls with Google inspection tool but still not working… When i switched back to my old theme, everything went back to normal under some minutes but switching to newspaper, the problem started again

The site homepage is showing indexed because it’s from my old theme… Immediately I installed newspaper theme, all my new posts stopped getting indexed.. I have tried using inspection tool but its still not working.
I have already switched back to my old theme and some posts got indexed already
