Google Custom Search Engine

I want to be able to use Google Custom Search Engine in the template on the top right of the navigation bar where the present Search Button is on:

http://www.aerospaceguide.net.

Is it possible?

I would like to be able to type into it and for it to go directly to the Google Search Engine page results.

ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION

If that is not possible, how can I turn off the search engine in the navigation bar in the template so I can use the Google Search Engine which I have added to the Side Bar?

Just to let you know I read of a custom solution in creating the Google Custom Search Engine. Unfortunately it is too technical for me to implement.

I think there was a tutorial on how to implement the google custom search in the docs > tutorials > DIY > best of forums, you might look at 🙂

Hello,

Unfortunately there is no non-technical way opf customizing the theme. Our theme does not provide any setting to add google search instead of our theme search. Where there is no setting, things get really technical if you truly need the option. You need to know what you are doing before altering the theme code.
