goodnight. I’m in the same situation – after some updates my site was demoted on Google and the indexing descriptions disappeared. Only the name of my website appears – without description, internal pages and complete details of the website as it previously appeared. Initially I believed it was a problem with Google and with the report in this post I’m sure it was the latest plugin updates. What can we do to solve it? Don’t use an SEO plugin? Our website has a relevant domain in Brazil with fast indexing of all our content – but the description and details of our website disappeared from Google. We ask, please, for an investigation and resolution of the case. Could you effectively help us?

our website has been referenced since 2008 – we are an important content site in Brazil – and our main page was simply just a title on Google. How could this have happened?
Is it necessary to open a new topic to address the issue or can we continue here?
Another curious relationship is that our website is described as CidadeMarketing – with letters all together; in Google’s indexing after updates it began to describe our site as Cidade Marketing with separation. What happened?
The problem did not occur on competing sites – and we did not carry out any type of update related to SEO that could affect our positioning and description of our site.

The fact is also narrated in the newspaper forum. observe.
Hello,
Usually the google results are related by SEO Plugins -https://i.imgur.com/eLEIOzS.png so it will be need to use a dedicate SEO plugin as Yoast SEO, Rank Math, AlinOne SEO after that the website should be reindexed submitted to google and the problem should be resolved (just make sure that in SEO plugin you have set the meta elements you want for your website).
Our theme is using basic schema and you should use a dedicate SEO plugin, those are update on SEO part and will maintain the SEO structure correctly when google adds some changes on it.
Thank you!
Calin, the relevance of the domino and its history over time makes Google consider it important. During all this time we didn’t use an SEO plugin – and this is always being discussed in related forums. Our indexing has always existed, especially our main page. Our daily internal content is well indexed and quickly appears on Google or Google News. However, as already reported here by another colleague and user of the theme in the last updates – it was evident that the main page http://www.cidademarketing.com.br does not appear on Google as it did before – with a detailed description, internal pages and several other items important. Our dialogue is tangible and deserves attention – we are here to provide constructive guidance as several other users may be experiencing the same situation. Could you analyze the impact on updates to the topic that caused this downgrade of our main address and cases like the one reported on the newspaper’s forum? Thanks
Suggest reviewing the meta data and GT Metrix score of your page prior to and after theme update.
Keep in mind latest WordPress update might have some elements that changed as well.
Also note Google periodically goes through a re-indexing phase and ‘tests’ elements such as their new AI bot for indexing, which will probably also look at open graph meta data, so good to ensure you have that.
If you maie changes to your site, and SERPS change, that is not the fault or responsibility of any theme.
Changing “site structure” can always affect SERPS, especially if “weights” of content change per page, linking changes such as footers and menus, or other issues.
Just some feedback. (I don’t work for tagdiv)
Yes, thanks for the comments. We’re following recent changes at Google. Our editorial line remains the same – including for content generation. coincidentally or not – our main page display on Google changed after the last theme update. As noted above by another user who went through the same situation. I will follow your guidance of taking measurements before and after the updates to find out the results.
I extend my admiration to everyone who provides services and develops themes here. My note is constructive and deserves attention from all sides – developers, content generators and the theme’s infrastructure team.
