I use Google Fonts on the Newspaper theme and this problem is happening with any of the that I used. Simply, the part of the text that is in Cyrillic, doesn’t show the chosen Google Fonts that I am using. This only happens in Microsoft Edge on Android.

The cyrillic fonts do work, but not with the chosen Google fonts. This is the default font of the theme, and I use PT Serif font. The best way to see is on a title that has latin and cirrilic.

Can you let us know what the font name is ? Have you checked if Microsoft edge recognizes it ? Some fonts are not compatible with all the browsers.
