Hello,
following the rules about GDPR we should use this theme with embedded Google Fonts to avoid IP address travelling around the world etc.
This is based on a court ruling, not my opinion.
A part from this I tried a plugin (Local Google Fonts, compatible with WordPress) but no lucky at all with this trick.
Is it possible to have an official update of your theme that includes all Google Fonts that we need to show contents?
Thanks in advance, best regards.
Hi,
You can try the custom fonts option -> https://i.imgur.com/Ek9MKjk.png in this way you can upload on your website up to 5 fonts and you can use the on the website (also, then you can disable all the fonts from the theme panel and use only the one you upload) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
That sounds great but can you clarify a bit more?
For example, I upload any Google font to the custom fonts option, then I select in the Cloud templates (either in tagDiv Composer/Module Fonts OR Website Manager Fonts) the Google font. Does the theme then pull the local font file or still from Google?
Hello,
Once that you loaded the local fonts you can disable the google fonts from the theme panel.
Also, when you set the font, you can set a custom name for it, if that custom name is choose in the tagDiv Composer (or theme panel options), then the custom font that was uploaded local should be used.
Thank you!
