I met problem for google+ share as same as someone mentioned two years ago.
When I share a post to google+, it only show a thumbnail image and the image will did not change when I share two post continuously.

I’ve test this on my side with the current theme’s version available on themeforest, which is V2.2 and the theme get the right thumbnail for every post shared: http://screencast.com/t/yMnWrnQ6oKk Please make sure that you’re using the updated version of the theme, also try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again.
Let me know how it goes and if the problem persist please provide your site url so I can inspect this closer.

Both Google+ and Google News both have issues with image and meta capture at times; in my own experience most often this has been with mega-menu active and “front loading” photos in front of the image in the actual post, even though the OG tag is properly specified, and even alt image tag separate from OG tag. Just seems to happen at odd times, then works fine next day.
