I often see in search results, that Google uses the meta description of different (related articles) for a post. Has anyone experienced the same? Any suggestions for Plugins for preventing? I’m using the newspaper theme together with WordPress Seo by Yoast.

I have two examples. First one is this article: http://starzip.de/dagi-bee-hat-extensions
The Keyword here is “dagi bee extensions”. When you google it via Google.de, you will find on the first page 3 results of our page. https://www.dropbox.com/s/h6rt83hqh0sdyvk/Dagi%20Bee%20Extensions.JPG?dl=0
First one the article, the second two are pictures in the article. Here Google takes what it can get. Expecially this article heading “Prank: Frau klebt Freund nackt am Stuhl fest”. I have seen this heading so many times as a snippet preview. But a bad example, for pictures I can understand Google, there is not much text to find.
Example two:The article we are looking for is: http://starzip.de/paola-maria-traegt-jetzt-ein-sascha-tattoo
When you Google “Paola Maria Tattoo”, you can find the following on Google page 2: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ekq8yfuyuax65p6/Paola%20Maria%20Tatoo%203.JPG?dl=0
Result 1 shows the title of the article “paola-maria-traegt-jetzt-ein-sascha-tattoo”
Result 2 shows the title of the article “paola…” + the whole meta description of the “paola…” article. Cool – but both results are completely different articles!!! And the reason why google has the wrong stuff are in my opinion the related articles. When we look at them, we can see that both articles appearing in the search result have the article”paola..” as related article showing. Hi,
According to Yoast the meta description you set on your post is not necessarily what google will display into search snippet so you can use Yoast’s meta description: http://screencast.com/t/0roUln4o3 to control it but still eventually google will decide what will show up there.
The related articles section don’t have any references to any description so I’m not sure that those articles influence google’s result.
If you want to test this you can disable the related articles section and test if makes any difference.
I’ve also checked your google’s results: http://screencast.com/t/j8N490KI on this post to be more specific: http://starzip.de/dagi-bee-hat-extensions and found that the description found on google matches with the one set by yoast: http://screencast.com/t/QoGHH3Kk2jU

I am using WordPress together with premium seo by yoast, my problems is that page 2 keep showing up in Google search site:www.styleota.com Even when i enable the Noindex subpages of archives (If you want to prevent /page/2/ and further of any archive to show up in the search results, enable this.
