We’r using Newspaper 9.5 and we have problem with “Author Box” module. Author Image (from gravatar) size is too low (196×196) insted 300×300. Here, on demo page https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_blog_lifestyle/2018/09/18/td-post-how-to-find-the-perfect-sunglasses-for-your-face-shape/ Author Image is in good quality, how it’s should be.
How to fix it?

Please provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at your Author Box module. I need this so I can investigate it closer to this section. Also, this image can be imported from your Media library from the TD Composer, when you are using an Author Template, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/T0AMdKmwti This image does not come from the Gravatar. If is not what you mean, provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

Yes, we know that we can edit Template and change Author Box module for Single Image module + Title module and it’s one of the solution, but better is check what is wrong and repair it 🙂

Avatar size (default 196) should be dynamic from Author Box module options.

That demo doesn’t use gravatar, I believe it uses wp user avatar where you can upload an image and use it as avatar, and disable the gravatar.
It is true that the theme will request a 196px image from gravatar, there would be no setting to change this unfortunately. A larger image size can be requested but only by modifications in the code, they can server larger images

Maybe this will change in the theme at a future time, as far as I know currently there are no plans to do so. Sorry for any inconvenience. Let us know if you have more questions.
