GTM wrapped in a div error

Dear all,

I’m getting an error from GTM that <script> tag is wrapped in a <div> container. Is there a way to avoid this without modifying the code?

I’ve used Theme Panel’s Custom HTML property to post GTM and some other JavaScript. I couldn’t find theme file which displays this, so I can modify the layout.

Hi,

I assume maybe you are talking about the google tag manager plugin. Please note that no such plugin was tested with the theme and could not work properly, or it could interfere with the theme functionality with unexpected results. Please correct me if I misunderstand what you meant and provide more details.

Hi Simion,

I am talking about Theme Panel => Custom Code => Custom HTML property, which is rendered out on the bottom of the page. When rendered out, it’s wrapped with a div, and Google doesn’t like it 🙂

How can we solve this?

Sorry for misunderstanding, this is where the custom html code is processed and inserted in the page – https://www.screencast.com/t/kQJ4jdptAi and you can make your changes there if you want to remove the div tag.
