GTMetrix says "following resources have identical contents" for the stylesheet

When I run a GTMetrix analysis of my site, I see this:

The following resources have identical contents, but are served from different URLs. Serve these resources from a consistent URL to save 1 request(s) and 1.2MiB.
https://www.MYDOMAIN.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/style.css
https://www.MYDOMAIN.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/style.css?ver=9.6

Is it necessary to have both of these/ is there a way to use only one URL?
