Hi.
Let’s suppose a user comes to the website and want to write a blog. Now can he do this on his own via Newspaper theme?
The customer creates a “User” account via which he can write blogs.
How can we create a user account which only has limited permissions?
I wanted to know the whole process. How to do this? Can this be automated or not?

Hello !

This can be achieved by setting up the user roles:

Super Admin – somebody with access to the site network administration features and all other features. See the Create a Network article.
Administrator (slug: ‘administrator’) – somebody who has access to all the administration features within a single site.
Editor (slug: ‘editor’) – somebody who can publish and manage posts including the posts of other users.
Author (slug: ‘author’) – somebody who can publish and manage their own posts.
Contributor (slug: ‘contributor’) – somebody who can write and manage their own posts but cannot publish them.
Subscriber (slug: ‘subscriber’) – somebody who can only manage their profile.

This are the roles and I think an Author role is the best for you, but that is up to you. And to make the user role standard you go into Dashboard – General – User role like here: https://www.screencast.com/t/tlsA1Eom

Thank you !
