Gutenberg slowing down all my backend with Newsmag theme

Hi,

can you check as we are having problem with very slow backend and we identify that this happening only with Gutenberg editor activated. Also on the post page the font on the right side seems blown up like if the editor is not loading correctly. As soon as we switch over to classic editor the slowing back end disappear.

Please let us know as it is nearly impossible to work with Gutenberg and the theme and it is also stressing the CPU a lot.

Hi,

Please make sure that you have the last version of the theme, Newsmag v4.9.1 and the last version of the WordPress v5.2.2
Also make sure that you set all theme requirements as in our guide from here .
At last make sure that you are using the Gutenberg editor that comes with WordPress, do not use plugins for Gutenberg editor.
