Hello
When you write an article, some time you want to add big images.
Meaning these images must fit perfectly to the width on the central element of the page.
When I look here the code, it seems on video that the width is precisely 696 px:
http://www.virtualmagie.com/articles/critiques/matos/jeu-de-cartes-bicycle-fireworks/
But in admin, I only could choose 640p.
So, like you see in the page, it is to short and not cool.
So I am oblige to change to each image the size.
But it is a waste of time.
For example on these page, I did it for the last image before the video.
I install “Simple Image Sizes” but never manage to force the 696p (and my dev too).
In admin I put 696p but always propose me 640p large and medium version when I try to insert an image in a post. 🙁
I think it will be cool and necesserary if in the next update the large image width become 696p instead of 640.
Regards
Sorry but I don’t understand your response and before doing that all these operation, I need to understand.
By default, the named “Large image” are all indicate on a width size of 640p.
I always had the indication for the first installation of the theme before installing any plugin till now.
Correct me but it means that when I upload a image, one of the thumbnail will be crop at 640p width (and keeping the proporrtion of the size heigh)?
So if it is correct, it means that this image is upscaled to 696p by your system.
It is not very clean.
Do you mean that in YOUR admin, the Large image is mention with 696p by default?
Hello,
Our theme does not use the 640px thumbnail but rather the 696 px thumb: http://screencast.com/t/tpHgwbowU9cp There is no 640 thumb. All the thumbnails used can be seen in the theme panel section. There is something else affecting your images that does not come from the theme. It resizes your images to 640px Please try it without plugins and see how it goes.
Thank you!

Hi,
Please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can take a look. Please also include a link to this topic.
Thank you!
Hello,
This is the response we provided via email:
I’ve looked into this post – http://www.virtualmagie.com/articles/critiques/matos/jeu-de-cartes-bicycle-fireworks/
And the images were not added at their original size – http://screencast.com/t/vhvE8SKcV
To make sure they are fully displayed you have to add the image at it’s original size – http://screencast.com/t/QPCbkeH7DwH
If you want to use 696×0 you could modify wordpress medium thumb – http://screencast.com/t/2G6AOLpp09ov
Regenerate all thumbs using Force Regenerate – https://wordpress.org/plugins/force-regenerate-thumbnails/
After that you can select the medium size – http://screencast.com/t/xqlJAJzvrL
Another thing you may want to check is the padding – http://screencast.com/t/hprB7kCJgJG – http://screencast.com/t/YisDxhHEd8g
Thanks.
