I’ve opted to use the mobile responsive feature in the main Newspaper theme (not Mobile Plugin + AMP) and I’m having an issue with having the Theme Colors.
I’ve set the theme colors that I want in the theme panel under Mobile Menu/Mobile Search, but after saving settings and reloading the background for both the menus and the search appear transparent. I’ve tried purging the cache (WP Super Cache) and doing hard refreshes, but nothing changes.

Hi,
I’ve noticed that this issue only impacts all pages EXCEPT the Home Page when I make the changes to Theme Colors for Mobile Menu and Search.
I’ve also noticed strange behavior on the Home Page vs. other pages. For example, the Header looks different on the Home Page (i.e. too much space between nav elements) vs. all the other pages.
I’ve tried clearing the cache and all other recommended methods, but the problem still persists.
