Header and Footer won't display as Boxed in Desktop viewport

Hi There,

Just done a soft launch of

GolfQuotes.co.uk

and I just can’t get the header / footer to show as boxed, rather than stretching on the desktop display.

All my default row options are “no stretch”

Obviously something simple I’ve missed, but just can’t find it!

Appreciate your guidance.

Many thanks

Neil

Hello Neil,

So, if you activated the option to make the website boxed, then edit with tagDiv Composer, select the row on the header and footer and set the option for “Row stretch” on Default => https://www.screencast.com/t/I7lDMXJjiwZ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/O8cc7n4ZzIc

Hope this helps you!

Thank you!

Hi Anamaria,

Yes, what you suggested is exactly what I had done and have just double checked again now.

Unfortunately the Desktop viewport is still showing the Header and Footer as stretched not boxed.

I can send you screenshots if required (just let me know how, as attachments don’t seem to be allowed?)

Kind regards

Neil

Hi,
Sorry for this misunderstanding. The boxed option from the theme panel it is apply automatically but only on content and not on a cloud header and footer, for this you need to edit the header and footer and select the zone, for example on header select a row and click on the “HEADER MENU” from the sidebar, then select the css tab and there you’ll need to set margin left and right “auto” and the width for header, this can be set in px or %. For footer you’ll need to do the same steps.
I hope this will help you!

Hi Calin,
