When I update to Newspaper 7, my website displays weird header.

Looks fine here. I’m assuming localpulse.net as the website. Loads fine in Chrome. Maybe it was a cache plugin and you didn’t clear the cache?

I suspect it may come from the browser cache, try to clear it or open the site in another browser. If you use a cache plugin clear it and check again.
