Header image overwritten by old code?

Hi. So. Im upgrading from a old versjon (I believe 8.7) to current, and that has been “interesting”… ? thank you for the support you have given me ?
Activating the “tagDiv Standard Pack plugin” fixed the sidebar issue, but I still have this stubborn strangess in the header.

I have startet a blanc Header template, uploaded a new image in the “header logo”, saved. But when I view the page I first se my new headerimage for a second, and then it changes to my old headerimage.

(If I choose “hide” for the image, it does not show any image anymore, so I do have some control. But what I want is to show the image I have chosen…)

Hello!

In order to avoid misunderstandings, please provide more information about what exactly you need to achieve, screenshots or a video and your website link.

A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link, paste it here.

Thank you!

Hi 🙂

I have made a screenshot recording with audio, it can be seen here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9ua29suhettrk7w/Header-problem.mov?dl=0

Hope this is clarifying.

The old logo that keeps popping back was uploaded four years ago.

Hello!

Please make sure you have no logo set up in the theme panel settings and try again to put your logo in the TagDiv Composer.

Let me know the results!

Thank you!

Thank you! I did find the old logo in Theme panel – Header-Logo & Flavicon, and deleting it solved the issue ?

That brings me to a question. What is best practise? To change for example theme colours via the TagDivComposer, or in the Theme panel?

Hello!

I recommend you to make all the changes in the TagDiv Composer if you use cloud templates because there are a lot of functions and features.
Also, you have a great option there in the Website manager -> Global colors: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-11-4-version/#More%20than%20Colors.%20Go%20Global
First of all, you need to create some global colors if there are no colors created already. Then, you should choose a global color inside your all pages. The changes of colors facilities your time with the global colors feature. You can import a new cloud demo which have those global colors and templates already created, so you should only change the color from the Website Manager as you like. For example: MILITARY NEWS PRO.

Thank you!
